The fast and flat 10K course is an out-and-back on Helena’s wonderful Rails to Trails and Centennial pathways.
A showcase of our Queen City, the Half Marathon weaves an out-and-back through Helena’s most historic and scenic areas. Come enjoy a course emphasizing everything that makes Helena great.
A short and sweet roughly one-mile loop, perfect for young runners ages 5 - 12.

All profits from Just for the Helena of It will be donated to The Friendship Center and Girls Thrive. They will be able to use these funds at their discretion, to best serve their mission and the needs of the Helena community. With money raised, we will help The Friendship Center provide a safe haven for those affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. We will help Girls Thrive inspire girls to empower themselves through a variety of physical activities and educational lessons designed to promote self-confidence, self-esteem, and positive body image.
Over the 4 years that Treasure State Runners has organized this race, we have raised a total of $121,000 for local Helena charities. Lace up your running shoes and join us again on October 18th, 2026!
